Causes of Acne

Acne is a result of the sebaceous glands leading to clogged skin pores. It does not only occur on the face but also in the areas such as the neck, shoulders, chest, back and even on your upper arms. It is not a life threatening skin disorder but it is the most irritating and upsetting since it may cause unwanted scarring. Acne is caused by few simple reasons. First, acne may occur if you lack sleep, eat excessively unhealthy foods (starchy, sugary and fatty). A chronic constipation can even worsen acne. Since waste toxins are not flushed out regularly from your body, it may travel to your bloodstream. The skin will have its own natural way to eliminate it and would result to acne and other skin problems.
